Hi, I’m Nina Elkadi (nee-nuh el-kaw-dee). My work has been published in National Geographic, Civil Eats, Inside Climate News, and more. I’m currently editor at large at Sentient, where I primarily investigate pollution and labor. This fall, I’ll be an MFA student at the University of Iowa’s Nonfiction Writing Program, where I will be an Iowa Arts Fellow. I’m a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, Investigative Reporters and Editors, the Uproot Project, and the Arab & Middle Eastern Journalists Association.
